Test drives are a feature, allowing players to try out equipment that they have yet to buy but have a rank high enough to buy. It is randomly offered to players from the rank of 
Master Sergeant or higher.

When entering a battle, the system occasionally offers the player to test a version of a turret or a hull that they do not possess, which. If accepted, the offered item will be equipped, and the player will be able to use it as long as they wish- until they exit the battle or change equipment. Once the test drive is over, the player is given a random discount for buying the tested item, for a limited time.

The feature was first announced in episode 60 of the Tanki V-Log, on September 18, 2015.[1] It was released on October 1, 2015.[2]
