What is a Clan?
A Clan is a group of players who join together to play in normal battles as well as clan wars. There are many clans in the English Community who play against each other in tournaments, as well as get to know each other by using chats/forums to socialize. The majority of clans are made up of high ranked people, and to join one as an official member, you need to be above the rank of Third Lieutenant. However, there are a few clans that do accept people at a low rank.
The Shield of Fire Clan
There are no Rank limitations but clans are usually made up of high ranking players. You need to meet a certain clan's requirements in order to join. You also need to the Clan Rules.
How to Join a Clan
Look at the clan forum and browse through the Clan names. Choose one, and try meeting the requirements before applying. Each clan can have different ways to join. (It's usually posted on the Clan's main post). The easiest method is to send a PM to the leader or co-leader of the clan. Talk about your garage, you rank, your timezone, etc. Once you've wrote anecessary info, send it. Wait a few days to receive a new message. If you didn't get accepted or no reply, just ask again or try to join another clan!
Format example for an Clan application:dddd
- Nickname of main account and alternative accounts
- Your age
- How long you have been playing Tanki Online
- Which turrets/hulls have you have in your garage
- Which turrets and hulls that you are truly experienced with
- A way for someone to contact you (i.e., emial, Skype)
- Whether you have a mic or a headset (necessary for voice calls during battles)
- Tell the clan why they should choose you: here you can write about why you want to be a member of a clan, what your achievements are (you can provide a link to your duel topic), writing about taking part in tournaments. Being a member of other teams/clans in the past is also welcomed. Finally, it is advised to say what role you would like to perform in a clan (defense, controlling center of map, attacking, etc.)
